For the serious Mustang enthusiast, Hooker full length tuned designs provide the greatest improvement in performance. In tuning Hooker headers for a particular application, factors such as vehicle weight, gear ratio and intended use play an important part in determining the ideal R.P.M. at which peak torque should be developed. Primary tube diameter and length are the most influential variables in header design and allow you to maximize torque gains and move torque from one R.P.M. range to another.
