Summer Madness, Presented by Alpha & Omega Wheels, is a fully-judged car show with 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place trophies in numerous vehicle classes. Car Show Classes include: Asian, Classic / Hot Rod, Domestic, European, Lowrider, Luxury, Old School / Donk, Sport Utility Vehicle and Truck. A very special 9-11 tribute to the police, fire rescue, and military personnel will occur late morning. Dedicated to heroes everywhere, our American Legion will conduct a "Posting of the Colors" ceremony featuring the Pledge, the National Anthem, a prayer, and more.
Many local police and fire depts. are invited as well as all branches of the military, both current and veteran. In addition, we will have vintage police, fire, and military vehicles.
For the show, all makes, models, and types of vehicles are welcome. Our show will feature lots of cool old cars, trucks, motorcycles, antiques, hot rods, modifieds, customs, and specialty vehicles.
We’ll have unique trophies, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, music, food, and much more.

LICruizin` ( a New York State recognized Not-For-Profit Corporation) is the only car show on the East Coast of the U.S. all of whose proceeds go to free PSA testing (a simple blood draw) for the early detection of Prostate Cancer. This test is available to all males attending the show and is now being implemented on a corporate level on Long Island. To date we have provided more than 700 free tests and discovered 16 potential cases of Prostate Cancer as a result. The show is held at the Capital One Bank building at Exit 49 North (Route 110) on the Long Island Expressway. on an all blacktop lot, with easy access from anywhere on Long Island or the metro New York City area. We have a select number of vendors, entertainmment and food with the free PSA testing being the focal point of the show. Awards will be given.

We did this by offering the FMX stunt show, Drifting, Atlanta free style, RC drag racing, Buck Baker Racing school, Stereo competition, Track cruise, with multiple stages and great music. This was all scheduled to happen multiple times during the 2 day event. We had everything planned out, but were cut short by the large amount of rain over our area. It may have been dampened and we did have to make many schedule changes but the show went on as promised. Motorsport Nationals did not cancel the show we were committed to making it the best show possible.

A large contingent of Mustangs and Ford® vehicles from all over Texas and surrounding states will depart Mustang, Oklahoma at 8:00a and arrive into San Antonio on Thursday at 4:30p to join up with members of San Antonio Mustang Club (MustangFest 2010`s Host Club) and members of the Heartland Mustang Club for an evening of celebration hosted by San Antonio`s Jordan Ford. The pony car owners will gather Friday in downtown San Antonio (after their obligatory Alamo and Riverwalk visits) - This is a Texas record-setting attempt. The Mustangs are expected to depart San Antonio at HIGH NOON and arrive in Corpus Christi around 2:30p for pre-check-in with local Ford dealer representatives on South Padre Island Drive — arriving on Mustang Island at 3:28p for event check-in. At 3:29p, reset watches to Island Time. LIVE Dinner Show at 7:00p.
There are over 4,000 rooms and luxury condos on Mustang Island, in a variety of accommodations. Mustang Island locals consider October their favorite time of year. Big Wheels Roll into Cherokee at the Big Rigs Show
5th Annual Big Rigs Antique Truck Show Raises Money for Cancer Research; Womanless Beauty Pageant
Big rigs and antique trucks rumble into Cherokee October 15-16 for the 5th Annual Big Rigs and Antique Trucks Show, where truck enthusiasts of all types gather to show off their custom and original truck resotrations, trade stories and ideas, compete for prizes and raise money for The Hope Chest for Women, which provides educational resources and limited financial assistance to women in Western North Carolina with breast and gynecologic cancer.
This family-friendly event takes place at the peak of the colorful fall leaf season on the Qualla Boundary at a new location this year, the old Cherokee High School at 1501 Acquoni Rd. Last year more than 2,200 spectators and participants showed up, and this year organizers expect more than 150 trucks to be on display. Models range from the antique to the working class, including pickup trucks, semis, dump trucks, and more.
Anyone with a real working or antique truck may register. Parts and swap meet vendors and food displays will also be available at the show. For all trucks approved for display, the registrant and a guest will receive free admission. Gates open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. General admission is $5; children twelve and under admitted free of charge. For additional show information, contact Bill Ashe at (828) 421-9399.
