We installed our Diablosport Trinity the other day and just have to say WOW! The trinity programmer is a combination of the Predator programmer, Digital Gauges, Custom Tuner and Data Logger. Our SS Camaro when from "Oh YEA!" To "Oh my freaking god!" She's wicked quick and getting enough fuel now to accomodate for the air intake and long tube headers we installed.

Carbon Fiber Splitter for the SS Camaro
This splitter was designed by SFX Performance specifically for the SS models. Comes with 4 adjustable support rods, but we only used two on our car. See larger images below. It looks like it sticks out further than it really does. From the absolute front facia it extends only 2 inches. Of course its completely adjustable when you install yours.. you can make it sit further back or much more dramatic.

Emblems
Replacement emblems are available in polished aluminum, chrome and black.

We used the ones by DefenderWorx in the front, but we didnt use the surround. This has a very nice look since they have the same angle, but are smaller in size. In the rear we wanted to keep the chrome surround, doing this makes it a bit easier to close the trunk.


 Above is the front end of our camaro during our build up for the SEMA show. we've just installed the black mesh grilles and the carbon fiber splitter. Looks phenominal. Notice we used some cotton towels during the grille install to make sure we didnt scratch the paint.

Here's a side view of the APR splitter for the Camaro. It mounts to the stock mounting points with the removal of the rubber under bumper skirt. We attached the support rods to our lower mesh grille instead of mounting directly to the bumper. You can mount it any way you wish as the holes for the support rod are not pre-drilled. The kit comes with a total of 4 adjustable support rods, however we only used to for our installation.

Splitter Install
If you look under your front bumper there's a rubber strip along the back side. It's held there with some plastic screws. The splitter is designed to mount to those same holes, but it comes with stainless steel nuts and bolts instead of the OEM plastic ones. You can later reinstall the rubber strip if you wanted to, however we did not. ( see photo below )

There's also two bolts in the middle towards the front, that help hold the front bumper on. What we did was take a hole saw bit on our drill so that we could later remove the front bumper without having to take off the splitter. We did mark this for APR when we designed it. Ours arrived with no holes drilled in the carbon fiber…. I believe they are coming pre-drilled now.

We found it easier to remove the front bumper to install this to make sure we perfectly lined up the holes and so we could adjust the rods where we wanted them and then drill the holes. I don't recommend doing that while the splitter is on the car.

We're confident that if you did not want to use the rods at all, it would be secure, but would recommend using some 3M tape towards the front of the bumper if you don't use the support rods. The adjustable support really are not really weight bearing, they are there to adjust the amount of down force for the front of the car.

Potentially, you could cut a hole in the underside of the front bumper where the raised portion is, this would allow the spltter to "scoop up air and deliver it to an intercooler!

All in all, it took us about 45 minutes to install it on our car, but we were being very careful since the car had all fresh paint. It's amazing just how easy it is to remove the entire front facia of the 2010 Camaro.

Custom Paint
Like most of the Camaro fans out there, we just weren't happy with the OEM vinyl stripe kits from the dealership or aftermarket. They simply dont hold up like the water decals of the classic Camaros. We opted to have our stripes painted on. But we didnt stop there... after consulting with Mike Dusold from Dusold Designs we came up with a ghosted skull theme inside of our stripes. From a distance, they look like your standard stripes, but get closer or let the sunshine hit it ... and WOW! It was truly a show stopper at the SEMA show in 2009.
